One of our favorite beaches in North Carolina is Bald Head Island. It’s such a beautiful island. Jessica & Brandon are such a romantic couple! One of our favorite elements of the day was during their ceremony. They kept the wine bottle that they bought when they first got together in 2007. It’s still unopened. Along with that they wrote beautiful love notes to each other and placed it in a wood box. On their 10th wedding anniversary they will drink the wine and read the love letters they wrote. This was so original and heartfelt. So unique! I can see them now a beautiful old couple still writing love letters to each other.

This sunset was so special because it was overcast and cloudy all day. A photographers delight!! It was a sunless and chilly spring day. They were really hoping for sun but they got something better. During the end of dinner the sun began to peak out and the sky turned a gorgeous orange color. We were stoked about this! It was the perfect time for some unique shots. Never had this type of sunset on a wedding day and at the perfect time too. We only had four minutes to take these. So grateful we had this opportunity before the sun disappeared.
