Many people know about Jacksonville, North Carolina, for it's rich military history. This eastern NC city is a top wedding location in North Carolina. It is the youngest city in the US with an average age of only 22. Some of the biggest sales from retailers come from our little town of Jacksonville. It boasts rich history and was the first place for African American soldiers to serve in the Marine Corps at Camp Gilbert H. Johnson. (Montford Point Marines)
