Kure Beach, North Carolina, is only 25 minutes from Wilmington and is rich with history. This eastern NC city is a top wedding location in North Carolina. It is next door to Fort Fisher which is a historic site from the American Civil War. One of the most decisive wars took place in Fort Fisher.
